A non-profit society dedicated to bringing together high IQ and creativity for the betterment of the world and fostering a community rich in intelligence and creativity.
The Isi-s (Society 151) was founded with the aim of bringing together intelligent individuals who also value creativity, referred to as geniuses.
The society’s intention is not to limit membership solely to individuals with high IQs, as IQ alone is not a sufficient indicator of creativity. However, the only practical, objective, and fair way to discriminate at this level is to use high IQ tests, as well as other tests as admission tools.
Our cutoff point of 151 (with a standard deviation of 16) is not astronomical, and anyone scoring high enough in a well-recognized high-range test or another IQ test will be welcome as part of the group in various categories.
This society aims to value individuals who use their high IQ scores creatively for the benefit of humanity.
Official Statement – Update on Members and Admission Criteria of ISI Society
ISI Society, one of the most selective high IQ societies in the world, announces that, by institutional decision and at the request of several members — including internationally recognized public figures — the names of its members are no longer published on its official website.
This measure was adopted in response to repeated requests from individuals working in high-visibility fields such as sensitive research, security, media, and government. The privacy of these professionals is essential to protecting their personal, professional, and emotional integrity, especially given the increasing risks of digital exposure and online harassment.
Certificates from the former Isi-Society
Following the complete restructuring of the society in 2023, ISI Society adopted new technical, ethical, and administrative standards. As such, certificates or titles associated with the former Isi-Society, issued up to 2022, are no longer recognized.
All former members who wished to remain part of the new ISI Society structure were invited in 2023 to update their records by resubmitting supervised IQ test results and supporting documentation. As a result of this process, approximately 1,200 individuals were not retained as active members due to noncompliance with the current requirements.
Valid admission criteria
ISI Society accepts only IQ tests that are supervised, scientifically validated, and recognized by official psychological councils or equivalent regulatory bodies in each country. Online tests, unsupervised exams, or instruments not published in scientific journals are not accepted as valid admission criteria.
Additionally, the society does not recognize IQ scores exceeding 160 points (or 164 with extrapolation) in tests with a standard deviation of 15, nor scores above 196 points (or 200 with extrapolation) in tests with a standard deviation of 24. These values exceed the statistical reliability limits of scientifically validated psychometric instruments.
Public dissemination of unrealistic IQ scores undermines scientific credibility, spreads misinformation, and devalues the legitimate achievements of individuals who meet proper technical standards.
